Be the Greatest Bimbo!

Miss Bimbo Internet game: Well, the name of it sounds not quite right to me. I do not find it appealing either. However, it is quite dangerous to girls of tender ages. This website claims to be the first virtual fashion game. And recently, it has caught the attention of the media, eating disorders organization and concerned parents. Rightfully so, as the message that is being passed to these kids are relatively dangerous. Relative to playing games such as handheld virtual pets; neopets.

The aim is the same. To keep the bimbo / pet alive, healthy and well. However, the bimbo game is going overboard in its offerings such as diet pills and plastic surgery. This is not wrong in itself as these things are available in the market. However, the target age group is a big concern. Girls at the age of 8 and 9 are hooked to the game. Are they even able to distinguish between reality and virtuality in the first place?

The message that they would be getting is unthinkable. Kids are vulnerable and even scenes such as smoking, drinking and mild violence is not recommended for them. This game site is sending even dangerous signals to the kids playing the game. The rising expectations, the role models, fashion magazines are doing enough damage already. The emphasis on the “thin is in” notion and emphasis on the looks are already putting the strains on fragile minds. We do not need one more adding to the woe.

Being the greatest bimbo does not appeal to me. However, the kids are not as matured as an adult in making the right choices or even appreciating the difference between virtual and real. Take care of your kids. Give them your time and influence them into good things and impart virtues and values that are everlasting. Take care of them.

THE TEARS OF RASULULLAH

Suddenly, there was a person said salaam.
“May I come in?” he asked.
But Fatimah did not allow him enter the room.
I’m sorry, my father is ill,” said Fatimah turned back and closed the door.
She went back to her father who had opened his eyes and asked Fatimah,

“Who was he, my daughter?”
“I don’t know, my father. It was the first time for me to see him,” Fatimah said gently.
Then, Rasulullah looked at his daughter with trembled look, as if he wanted
to reminisce about every part of her daughter’s face.
“Know one thing! He is who erases the temporary pleasure; he is who separates the companionship in the world.

He is the death angel,” said Rasulullah .

Fatimah bore the bomb of her cry. The death angel came toward him,

But Rasulullah asked why Jibril did not come along with him.
Then, Jibril was called. Jibril was ready in the sky to welcome the soul of
Habibullah and the leader of the earth.
“O Jibril, explain me about my rights in front of ALLAH?” Rasulullah asked with a weakest voice.
“The doors of sky has opened, the angels are waiting for your soul.”
“All jannats open widely waiting for you,” Jibril said.

But, in fact, those all did not make Rasulullah  relieve, his eyes
were still full of worry.
“You are not happy to hear this news?” asked Jibril.
“Tell me about the destiny of my people in future?”
“Don’t worry, o Rasul ALLAH . I heard ALLAH told me: ‘I make Jannat haram
for every one, except the people of Muhammad”
Jibril said.
It became closer and closer, the time for Malaekat Izrail to dohis work.
Slowly, Rasulullah’s  soul was pulled. It was seemed that the body of
Rasulullah was full of sweat; the nerves of his neck became tight.
“Jibril, how pain this sakaratul maut is!”
Rasulullah  uttered a groan slowly. Fatimah closed her eyes, Ali sat beside
her bow deeply and Jibril turned his face back.
“Am I repugnant to you that you turn your face back o Jibril?”
Rasulullah asked to the Deliverer of Wahyu.
“Who is the one who could see the Habibullah in his sakaratul maut,” Jibril said.
Not for a while, Rasulullah uttered a groan because of unbearable
pain.
“O ALLAH, how greatest is this sakaratul maut. Give me all these pains,
don’t to my people.”
The body of Rasulullah  became cold, his feet and chest did not
move anymore.
His lips vibrated as if he wanted to say something, Ali took his
ear close to Rasulullah .
“Uushiikum bis shalati, wa maa malakat aimanuku – take care the saalat and
take care the weak people among you.”
Outside the room, there were cries shouted at each other, sahabah
held each other. Fatimah closed her face with her hands and, again, Ali took
his ear close to Rasulullah’s  mouth which became bluish.

“Ummatii, ummatii, ummatii?” – “My people, my people, my people.”
And the life of the noble man ended.

Could we love each other like him? Allahumma sholli ‘ala Muhammad
wa baarik wa salim ‘alaihi. How deep is Rasulullah’s  love to us.

Note:
Send this to all your Muslim friends so that the awareness to love
ALLAH
and His Rasul appears as ALLAH and His Rasul  love us – because –
truly –
the other loves, except it is only fana thing. Ameen.

Don’t worry if people hate you because there are many others who
love and
care you in the earth. But be worry if ALLAH  hates you because
there is no
other who loves and cares you in akhirat

This question came in time. I mean this qn has not been tossed around for a while now. It is not an easy subject to take on a view and influence. We do have female MPs and they are doing their job well. Are they ready yet, to take on more responsibility?

I am of the opinion that we still are not ready. Reasons are many. Main thing is the Asian culture. Although women have gone out and proven to the world what she is capable of doing, we are still stuck with the social stigma. It will take some time as this has been with us for God knows how long.

Shopping alone phobia

I had a conversation with my home mates today. That makes up my sis, mom and maid. I asked thm if they would like to go out shopping alone or with someone. All of them replied that they would rather go out with someone. I was expecting this answer but still I felt I will be able to find someone who share the same view as mine.

I love to go out alone. I mean, not all the time but mostly. I prefer the shopping aspect to be truly a personal experience. As long as I can remember, I have been like that. Am I an introvert? Yes, to a certain extent. That does not mean that if you out me in the middle of a class of 100 and demand a presentation, I’d break into sweat. Nope. Not at all. I love the attention I get as well. But somehow, shopping is my own private area.

Any type of shopping, be it for clothes, groceries, perfumes. I prefer this as I want to make my own decisions. Not get influenced into buying something because the other person feels so. Also, I prefer the exploring part. I love to try on the things I feel like trying on, without any eyes prying on me to tell me later that I made the wrong or the bad choice. And I window shop quite a lot. Why waste someone else’s time as well should they have obliged to come with me rather than want to come with me? I do not like to rush with the shopping as my experience has been such that whenever I got out with someone, they have a deadline to catch or someone to meet. Well, I do not want the disappointment that comes with that. And the list goes on as to why I prefer shopping alone.

This programme just woke me up. My sis was telling about how fun the show is and all. It was not until recently that I watched one show. It took me completely off guard. Before I watched, I was of the notion that of course, I am smarter than a fifth grader. 100 %. This is a no brainer.

It started as a fun game show to watch on a boring eening. However, as the show progressed, I realised somethis is wrong. You are outdated. And you are not match even to a first grader. That was a big insult! I saw the looks on the faces of the contestant. Man he was sweating. And the classmate he opted for was cool, reserved and locked in the answer just in a matter of seconds.

Haha, welcome to the real world wahi. Well, like a good student I always was and am, I accepted my defeat and am now in the process of rediscovering myself. I have shared some tips and hindsight in the following article. Do read and see if you could pick up something that you could apply as well.

LESSON : NEVER EVER THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING

Bulimia

Bulimia is a particular eating disorder where the victim indulges in excessive eating and purging. They indulge in foods that are fattening and high in calories; even if they are not hungry. This is followed by the feeling of guilt accompanied by attempting to remove the food from their body through methods such as vomiting.

Bulimia nervosa is different from anorexic nervosa in one aspect. Bulimics indulge in food while anorexic do the opposite. Bulimics and Anorexics mostly display similar symptoms.

In America itself, the number of bulimics would fall within the range of 2%-6%. Percentage wise, this may seem to be a small number. However, if you translate that to the actual amount, it can add up to quite a big number.
