Tell a person the sky is blue… He/she denies and says its magenta
Tell the person again…. person denies again
Get someone else to tell the person the sky is blue… person denies again
Get 10 others to tell the person the sky is blue…. person accepts
You heave a sigh of relief and ask the person what is the color of the sky….
Magenta comes the answer!!
This is a very simple example. In our life, we encounter so many people. We may or may not remember them. But, just as you come across such a person who says MAGENTA, you will never forget the person.
Its true to a certain extent that even in this era, there are people who simply do not want to listen. They do listen when the pressure builds or if they are cornered or if they do not have a choice. Just a little gap they recieve, they are back to square 1. true in every aspects of our life… Be it love, family, friends, colleagues etc etc
Learn… unlearn… relearn… these were the mantra I grew up with. Seeking knowledge, deciphering the message, relating to them, unleashing the remains not required and altering the jagged edges of information and recealing to others to recive a better understanding; for me and for them.
However, the moral of the story is, no matter how hard you try, its just a waste of time if the receiving end is not interested.
